CTI becomes Gold Sponsor at Cisco Connect 2014
CTI have traditionally become a Gold Sponsor for the largest ICT conference, Cisco Connect, held in 18-20 November at the World Trade Center in Moscow. The event was attended by CEOs of major IT companies, able to to learn about new methods of boosting their business and new technologies that will allow their teams to become more efficient; IT department heads and experts, which learned new solutions for enhancing the way their IT systems operate; entrepreneurs and journalists get a clear picture of anything new that ICT industry has to offer.
The event consisted of three main parts: the conference, featured over a hundred speeches, sessions and workshops, divided into technical tracks; World of Solutions exhibition where visitors were be able to try out any Cisco solution and attend a consultation; partner exhibition where visitors were able to learn about Cisco - based solutions, share his/her opinions with experts, attend a consultation, ask questions about whatever interests him/her.
The first day of the conference featured speeches from Jonathan Sparrow, Vice President for Russia and the CIS at Cisco; Den Sullivan, Head of Architectures, Emerging Markets at Cisco Systems; Wim Elfrink, Executive Vice President, Industry Solutions & Chief Globalisation Officer at Cisco; and the welcome speech presented by Oleg Schapov, CEO at CTI.
During the exhibition, CTI showcased Communications in One Click concept based on products and technologies of Cisco, which also has become the main topic of speeches presented by experts. The booth has been divided into two zones, office and home, that allowed to demonstrate the efficiency of the workplace using cloud computing in the office and for remote work. There were collaboration solutions based on HCS platform (Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution), videoconferencing, On Demand Contact Center, and hybrid cloud solutions using Cisco Intercloud technology displayed at the booth. In addition, visitors had an opportunity to learn about MDM (Mobile Device Management) and M2M (Machine-to-Machine) technologies, to share his/her opinions with experts, attend a consultation.
The first day of the conference also featured press round table on Modern data center as business optimization tool with Den Sullivan, Head of Architectures, and Emerging Markets at Cisco Systems, Aleksey Zhukov, business development manager at Cisco, and Oleg Schapov, CEO at CTI. The experts discussed the future development in the field, the launch of Intercloud global program and participation of CTI, and а answered the questions of the journalists.
