Upgrading the corporate IP telephony system of OJSC Altaienergosbyt
Developing and introducing new solutions within the context of upgrading the telephone system for the successful functioning of the organization.
A project to introduce a corporate IP network has been implemented by CTI experts, based on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM). Also, CTI Recording, a system for recording and cataloging phone calls in IP networks, being an in-house CTI software product, has been deployed as part of the project.
- Installing the updated calling exchange software - Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
- The telephone system has been integrated with the company’s database of domain users - Active Directory, allowing subscribers to work with the same user credentials when accessing both the domain network resources and their IP-phones settings.
- Deploying CTI Recording, a system for recording and cataloging phone calls in IP networks.
- Integrating joint solutions by CTI and Cisco with the products used by AltaiEnergoSbyt, namely, the Microsoft Lync 2010 instant messaging system and the Microsoft Exchange 2010 voice mail and messaging system.
Upgrading Altayenergosbyt’s telephone network infrastructure has allowed a single contact center to be established which has improved the quality of customer support by providing timely advice on a variety of issues. This has also provided grounding for further development of in-field standardized communications which, while reducing operational costs, will allow new useful features to be introduced to support the company’s business processes.
