CTI DATA CENTER DAY 2018: APPROACHES TO EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF COMPUTING RESOURCES

The system integrator CTI hosted its third CTI Data Center Day retreat. This important event brought together the company’s customers and key partners – representatives of the world's largest IT vendors such as Dell EMC, Cisco, HPE, Atos, Veritas and Commvault. The experts discussed modern solutions for building data center infrastructure and presented the latest developments in this field. The conference was held on May 18-19 at Arthurs Village & SPA Hotel.

CTI Data Center Day is an industry event for Russian IT industry players and business representatives, providing an excellent opportunity for meetings and negotiations, with a focus on current issues in the IT market, and practices and approaches to implementing data processing center projects.

The conference featured presentations by representatives of CTI’s leading partners – global leaders from the IT industry. The vendors presented their latest developments and discussed solutions for creating and managing computing resource pools within data centers. All of the solutions presented at the event are unique, and combine advanced technologies and best practices for building an IT environment. A common theme of the presentations was the digital transformation of business and its specific features in Russia. The experts also discussed new IT opportunities in 2018 in a round table format.

“Over the past decade, approaches to the design, deployment and administration of data centers have changed significantly. The IT market is moving towards the new digital world. New models and innovations have evolved helping data center owners to increase the efficiency and reliability of their equipment,” says Roman Kharybin, Data Center and IT Infrastructure Department Director at CTI. “The major global tech leaders – CTI’s partners – can offer cutting-edge infrastructure and computing power management concepts.”

The event was attended by top managers and heads of IT departments, representatives of the financial sector, oil and gas and energy industries, as well as major industrial, trade and service sector enterprises. The attendees and experts discussed various options for applying the proposed solutions in their companies. The conference program also included recreational activities at a sports and shooting complex outside Moscow.

In recent years, our joint activities have enabled CTI to attain the highest statuses of almost all the vendors present at the event. We have jointly implemented many large and significant projects in various sectors of the economy. CTI plans to hold regular forums on data centers, expanding the number of partners and participants.
